IMPROJECT - Ground Coffee b/w Steppin

Improject was formed by a group of musicians filling in for another band last minute on a gig they couldn't do. With no rehearsal or set songs to play they thought, no worries we'll just make some stuff up. This idea resulted in two sets of seriously funky improvised grooves and a new "project" was born. When that turned out be to a success they gathered in the studio but with four microphones set up and an old Akai 1/4" 4-Track tape machine. After a few ideas where run through first this time, what resulted were the "Ground Coffee" and "Steppin" recordings.
